We thought very carefully about what names to assign each character, as you can see we first thought of lots of names that we thought would suit our genre, time period and also the characters. We then discussed each character and choose a name that we thought was best suited. Whilst choosing the names we thought about how the name would depict the characters as often we wanted this to give the different characters portrayals for example the wife needed to have a higher class name than the waitress and the detective needed a strong and powerful name to relate to his character.
